Jesus Loves Me!

I Know That Jesus Loves Me! Do You?

Jesus Loves Me

When I was a kid, I used to sit around and doodle all the time. You know what I mean, right? I would draw on my school notebooks or papers… I would doodle!

I wrote, “Jesus Loves Me!” on everything. I wrote it in cursive. I wrote it fancy. I wrote it sloppily. I used magic markers and wrote Jesus Loves Me in all the colors of the rainbow on poster board.

One thing I knew then and I still know now with full assurance is that Jesus Loves ME!! I don’t know how I know. I just know. Those three words have carried me through some of the darkest times of my life.

If I were the only person in all of God’s creation to EVER receive Jesus, God would still have sent His Son just for me! And… Jesus would have still died that excruciating death, just for me! Why?

Jesus Loves Me, that’s why!

Do you realize that your perception of God affects everything that you do in life? It’s true. If you think that God is out to get you or catch you doing something wrong so that he can dis-own you, you have believed the ultimate lie of the enemy. That’s what Satan did to Eve in the Garden. He convinced her to believe him instead of believing God.

God wants us all to know that he SOoooooo Loved the world that –

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

That old song that so many children have sang throughout their lives warms the hearts of many people still today!

It says,

Jesus Loves Me, This I know, For the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong, They are weak but He is strong.

Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus Loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me for the Bible tells me so!

Sing this song. Doodle the words, “Jesus loves me” on everything so that you will see it and believe it in YOUR heart!

What about you? Do you have a testimony of how much Jesus loves Y-O-U? Leave me a comment below and tell me those three words! Do you believe it?

God Bless You,

Michelle

Death – Yucky

I Hate Death! It’s so yucky & painful.

Death of my puppy Yoda
Yoda 1/18/13 – 8/31/13

I have just existed for the past 3 days because my puppy was sick and then he died. I had gotten really attached to him and was not at all prepared to deal with his death.

I have cried and I have laughed as I remember all his antics and funny things that he used to do.

On July 15th of this year, I began walking to try to get this physical body in better shape. We have a graveyard across the road behind our house where I walk and Yoda loved to go with me. I would fuss and tell him to stay at home and he would, at least for a few minutes. But then…in just a few minutes…

He would come zooming around me, about half-way through my first lap, jumping & playing!

If he could talk, I think he would’ve said, “See mommy, I caught up with you & I will take care of you & now we’ll have FUN!” One thing is for sure, he made my struggles of walking a lot easier to deal with. He was my little walking buddy and now my heart hurts to even consider going walking without him. But, I WILL!

Life does go on for those of us that are still living. We all deal differently with the grief that we face that comes from the death of a loved one or a pet or going through a tragedy.

There are no set rules of how to deal with grief but we MUST deal with death, in some way. Don’t “smother” or “stuff” your feelings way down inside and refuse to deal with them.

1 Corinthians 15:26 – The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

If death had already been destroyed, there would be no escape from this corruptible flesh that we live in. Someday, we will have a NEW body and we will put on our Glory Robes like the one that Jesus wears!

I have heard people discuss whether animals will be in Heaven or not. I think that there will, most assuredly, be animals in Heaven. Were there animals in the Garden of Eden, before the fall of man? Of course!

So, I think my Yoda is running along at the feet of Jesus like he used to do here with me. Maybe my Earthly Daddy, who always loved his dogs, is there and has introduced himself to Yoda.  They could be walking along by the Crystal Sea right now, as I write about them.

I am so glad to have known this puppy named Yoda who lived from January 18, 2013 until August 31, 2013. He enhanced my life and was much loved by me even though I didn’t know how much until after his death!

One thing I DO KNOW – God loves me and He knows ALL things and I will continue to trust HIM!

Whether in life or in death, let’s keep on LOVING! Don’t lock your heart up just because you’ve been hurt by death.

With Love,

Michelle

Say What You Mean!

Say What You Mean! You have to try to get across whatever it is that you want people to understand, right? Red paper with xoxo written on it. Say what you mean

In this fast-paced age, when everyone has a cell phone, computers, and internet access everywhere they go… You would think that people would say what they mean and communication levels would be higher than ever! The only problem is… I don’t think that’s the case.

In my humble opinion, I still believe that communication is the key to healthy relationships! So, say what you mean and then make sure you are understood before you leave the conversation!

Sometimes when we say things, people don’t really hear it or try to understand what you mean. It really depends on “where they are” when you say it.

For instance, if I were to say to my daughter, “Tiana, someday I hope to be where you are today.”

  • You could assume that Tiana is in the kitchen and that’s where I want to be. (*wink* smiling now because I am one that avoids the kitchen, lol! For some reason, I don’t like cooking and I hate doing the dishes.)
  • You could assume that since she just won the State Championship in Javelin throwing that I wanted to be an outstanding athlete.
  • Tiana has a beautiful 18 year-old body so it would be very easy to assume that I want to be where she is in fitness and muscle tone.

All of those things listed could be true but without her asking me, “What do you mean, Moma?” she will probably never know. Some statements are meant to open the conversation or to create real life-producing thoughts.

Now, if she had just been working out and was focused on stretching and the cool-down phase, her thought process would be different than it would be if she had just returned to her seat from leading the Praise & Worship service at church. Or, if we had just finished talking about finances for her first year of college, her perception of that statement would be entirely different than it would be if I were mad at her for not doing the laundry. (I use sarcasm way too much at our house so my children are always “on guard”. It does, however, provoke them to think about the things that are said and the way that they use their words!)

Here’s the deal – If I were to tell her right now, “Tiana, someday I hope to be where you are today” it would mean that she is a leader and she inspires people. She has a magnetic attraction because of her obvious “Favor of God” and people are drawn to her. She knows she has value and beauty and she isn’t dealing with any “junk” about the way she looks. That’s what I mean by saying that I want to be where she is!

Do you want to lead people and empower them to be FREE? You will need influence and the “Favor of God” to do that.

The good news is that all you have to do is ASK for it and the Lord will give it to you!

We all have strengths and weaknesses. We should learn to build on our strengths and become stronger in them so that we become the expert. For our weaknesses, let’s find partners, friends or family members and come into agreement for them to take care of the issues that we are weak in.

It is my hope that I have helped you with this story! We are all on a journey together! It is my desire to see you more and more FREE! As you conquer something, help someone else to follow in your footsteps. It’s ok to give some things away. It’s also ok to charge for products and services that have value for others. People are buying “stuff” every day that has NO value and wasting their money. It would be much better for them to see some value for their money by buying from you!

We have started a community of people who care about each other and want to see each other succeed. There’s no reason to be jealous of somebody else because God has enough love and grace for the whole world!

There’s room on top of this mountain of influence! Let’s Say What We Mean and Mean What We Say! How about it? Would you like to join me?
