Success Story – Real People, Real Life

Tell Me That Story

Would you like to create your own success story instead of just reading about someone else’s?

I will show you where to start and what to do first.

I hope you have laid out your plans for 2017 so that this year you will have a success story of your own. If you haven’t done that YET, go and read about, share, and find hope in someone else’s success story.

Years ago, I was involved with a different network marketing company. They did a lot of talking about success but I didn’t see too many people succeeding. That experience affected me when I first became a part of doTerra. Then, one day, I noticed people that were in the same business with me were advancing through the ranks, and their incomes were going up!

My belief level started to go up. Plain and Simple.

Even in the Old Testament, the people were instructed to pass down the stories of God’s goodness and mercy from generation to generation. We desperately NEED to hear good things, success stories, and feel-good stories.

So, here is a success story that was posted on Facebook a couple of days ago by one of the ladies on our team.

Success Story, Cancun incentive trip“We are in Cancun with most of dōTERRA’s top leaders and the executive team. It is almost overwhelming to think back to the decision about going to that first class and to see where that decision has led us. It started with little bottles that helped us feel better, but I had no idea where that would lead us.

We have traveled to places we would have never gone. I have spent more time on a beach this past year than I have in my whole life. My marriage is stronger, my friendships are stronger, my time belongs to me. I am so thankful for a company and friends that help me be a better human.

When you are thinking about a decision to watch an online class, or have an opportunity to attend a live essential oil class, do yourself a favor and GO. If you are looking for a different way to do life, take the time to look at dōTERRA as a business.”

Are you at all interested in doing Life this way, alongside me?

I would love to show you how to do this. My team has incredible training and systems in place to support you along the way. Please do not hesitate to contact us. We are looking for ambitious, hard-working people to partner with and just do LIFE with! You will be so proud of our company, products, team and getting to work with ME! Yes, I said it and I mean it. Chicken Or Warrior?

Come on, Are you chicken?  (You really might be a warrior!)

When I was a kid, my brothers and I were always into name-calling.  It was never really “bad” words or “curse” words but we could sure do a number on each other with calling each other names.  Calling each other chicken was a normal thing around there.  If you wanted someone to do something, all you had to do was to tell them they were “chicken” and they would set out to prove that they weren’t scared.

Here’s a question I have for you…”Are you chicken?”

Are you afraid to step out and do things because you are afraid of what someone might think about you?

Are you expecting rejection at every turn and the fear paralyzes you to the point that you don’t do anything?

Are you afraid of failing or falling and someone will make fun of you?

Here’s what I know.  I have said “yes!” to every one of those questions and it hasn’t been that long ago.  Just because we grow up and become adults doesn’t mean that we aren’t still living in fear.  So, let’s take this fear under subjection and apply some Jesus to it!

Fear and Faith cannot abide together.  You have to change your mind and your belief.  Jesus is stronger than every doubt, fear, or demon that wants to get you to listen to him.

Believe Jesus when he tells you that you can do anything, be anything, and have an abundant life.  Abundance doesn’t come out of fear.  Abundance comes from God through his son, Jesus.

Jesus said in John 10:10 that the thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy but that He (Jesus) came that you might have life and have it more abundantly.

So…what’s it going to be for you today?  Is it faith or fear?  Is it light or darkness?  Are you going to be a CHICKEN or a WARRIOR?

Be transformed by the renewing of your mind, every day!  Focus on who the Lord says you are instead of what the world or the enemy has to say.

You are greatly blessed, highly favored and deeply loved!  Go out and tell somebody when they ask you, “How are you today?”….Just say I am Blessed.  🙂

Dealing with the issues of life

Dealing with the Issues of Life

Crying with head in hands over issues of life

One of the issues that I have dealt with my entire life is that I feel other people’s emotional pain. Not in a spooky kind of way or anything but I have a deep-rooted compassion for others. You might say it’s the type of compassion that can only come from Jesus.  However, this compassion has caused me true heartache, also. I am just an everyday person that is in tune with my Spirituality. Some people fine-tune their sexuality. Others have a sharp business-mind. Some can make money while they sleep. Me?…I get to hurt when you hurt!

When I was younger, I would completely put up walls so as to not feel at all. I mistakenly thought that if I shut off my feelings that I wouldn’t be hurt. I didn’t know how to deal with the depth of my feelings. I didn’t know that I wouldn’t ever be able to get that time back. I still go through stages where I shut myself off from people but I now open up to Jesus and grow stronger during these times. Over the years, I have learned how to trust God and let Him use the issues of life and turn them into blessings.

Today is an example of one of those days. (I sometimes think my husband must be superhuman to put up with me.) On his pushing and prompting, I took the puppy for a walk and talked to the Lord.

Is it a coincidence that we have a graveyard close by…. always reminding me to make the most of life and to enjoy the people around me?

Anyway, I was walking and talking and I stopped at two small tombstones side by side. I saw their daddy out there as they were putting up the tombstones yesterday. They were twins, a girl and a boy, who were delivered prematurely and the baby girl lived a week and her brother lived two weeks. Yes, I am crying now. Yes, I was crying then. I could feel the pain because I myself have also felt the pain of losing a child.  But as I stood there, I felt that sweet peace begin to blow through my spirit. Do you know the Peace that passes understanding that is impossible to describe with mere words?

I can tell you that I am as mature Spiritually as I can possibly be right now. Don’t be afraid to care deeply for others. Pray as if it were you going through the tragedy or troubles of life. Let God use you to care and show compassion on others. Jesus brought compassion and mercy and grace to the world. Step out and show people the love that they so desperately need. God has taught me to do this with my big heart and crazy compassionate self, sometimes very gently and sometimes very BOLDLY.

We all have issues that we deal with in this world. If you have lived long enough, you have heard of gang rapes, murders, children who died before they had a chance to live, neglect, spousal abuse, drug addictions, disease, deformities, and all kinds of tragedies. Sadly, the list goes on and on and on.

My husband of 20 years is an Ordained Minister and has been since before I met him. He has preached in churches of different denominations, officiated weddings and he has preached several funerals. At first, the funerals were the worst because I cry so much when I see people suffering the loss of the people they love. I always want to help them understand what death really is and how to cope after they leave the funeral service and the graveyard.

This is the part where I wanted to get to today. I am sure that you can relate to something I have said. I would love to help you deal with some of the issues of life… you know the “biggies”. I want to help you equip yourself for the struggles of life. After having done all that you can do, just keep standing.

Ephesians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

You need to know that Christianity is not about getting a case of the “do-betters” and repeating after some preacher one time in your life. It’s not just a warm and fuzzy and pretending that everything is ok… and all the while suffering in pain or torment and listening to the lies of the enemy.

You need to be “equipped” to handle the storms of life when they come! I am not speaking death on you but the storms will come. That’s a part of living….learn to deal with the issues of life and get stronger day by day and know that you are not alone!

Jesus is with you. There are people who really care about others and don’t have an agenda. I am one of them so I know it’s true.
