Happy New Year

Happy New Year

New Beginnings can be scary, fun, or exciting or all of these!

Personally, I made a lot of New Resolutions throughout the year 2013 that I am still working on.

  • I invested into an online Social Media Training with Sandi Krakowski that lasted from March – September.
  • Our oldest son was married in March so we gained a daughter. Our daughter graduated from high school, won the State Championship in Javelin & broke the state record for longest throw, and started her freshmen year of college. Our youngest son plays basketball all the time ūüôā and keeps a straight A+ average in school. As parents, Danny and I pour a lot of time into our children grooming them into responsible adults!
  • After seeing a picture of myself at my daughter’s 19th Birthday Party, I started on a body transformation with the Isabody Challenge 0n November 22nd. This is a 16 week contest that will end on March 14th, 2014 and I intend to win!
  • Over ten years ago, one of my best friends from the network marketing industry (Bill Andreoli) started his own MLM company called Financial Destination, Inc. I was one of the first few representatives in FDI and Dale Johnson was my direct upline sponsor. There is no doubt in my mind that FDI was a God-send. My income from that company carried our family through some of the hardest years of our lives. On the evening of December 29th, 2013 Dale was watching tv at his home in Kentucky and suffered a massive heart attack and died. Dale will be dearly missed by many people all over the USA. My heartfelt sympathies go out to all his family and friends. My life is forever changed because of knowing him.
  • Today, January 1, 2014, I am starting a new phase in my life. I just became a new representative for a company called Isagenix, I am working on a new body, and I am starting brand new on building an income!
  • Many years ago, I asked God to make me a Leader and He has done that. Now, I am asking for God to send leaders to work with me. I know that he will do that, too. I choose NOT to build my business in the old-school way, with hotel meetings all over the country or staying on the phone all the time.
  • Let’s build a business together ONLINE, make lots of money, and make new friends all while BRINGING GLORY TO OUR KING JESUS!

Yes! Let’s set some really high expectations for the NEW year and for the rest of our lives!

Our Daddy God has Great NEW Things in store for us!

Are you a leader? Are you ready for a New Direction in Life that could never happen unless God’s hand was in it? Yeah, me too!

The Hall of Faith

Clear blue sky and ocean with faith Scripture

The Hall of Faith is the place to go if you are struggling with pain, heartache, discouragement or unbelief.  If you need to see your belief level rise, read this!

Clear blue sky and ocean with faith Scripture

The eleventh chapter of the book of Hebrews is considered by many to be the “Hall of Faith” ¬†If you walk down this hall, you will understand why it has the name.

In November of 2008, my husband had back surgery to fuse it all back together after a severe injury at his job. He was in misery, even a couple of months after the surgery, and he asked God if he was going to die. He said that he was told to get himself up and go and read the 11th Chapter of the Book of Hebrews. So he did just that and his outlook was noticeably improved. He knew that he was going to live and not die!

I have included the whole chapter for the full effect!

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:
19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.
21 By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshiped, leaning upon the top of his staff.
22 By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.
23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment.
24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter;
25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
28 Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.
29 By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.
30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.
31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.
32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gideon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:
33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:
36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

It is by faith that I even hope that I can touch a life for Jesus today!

Chicken Or Warrior?

Come on, Are you chicken?  (You really might be a warrior!)

When I was a kid, my brothers and I were always into name-calling. ¬†It was never really “bad” words or “curse” words but we could sure do a number on each other with calling each other names. ¬†Calling each other chicken was a normal thing around there. ¬†If you wanted someone to do something, all you had to do was to tell them they were “chicken” and they would set out to prove that they weren’t scared.

Here’s a question I have for you…”Are you chicken?”

Are you afraid to step out and do things because you are afraid of what someone might think about you?

Are you expecting rejection at every turn and the fear paralyzes you to the point that you don’t do anything?

Are you afraid of failing or falling and someone will make fun of you?

Here’s what I know. ¬†I have said “yes!” to every one of those questions and it hasn’t been that long ago. ¬†Just because we grow up and become adults doesn’t mean that we aren’t still living in fear. ¬†So, let’s take this fear under subjection and apply some Jesus to it!

Fear and Faith cannot abide together.  You have to change your mind and your belief.  Jesus is stronger than every doubt, fear, or demon that wants to get you to listen to him.

Believe Jesus when he tells you that you can do anything, be anything, and have an abundant life. ¬†Abundance doesn’t come out of fear. ¬†Abundance comes from God through his son, Jesus.

Jesus said in John 10:10 that the thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy but that He (Jesus) came that you might have life and have it more abundantly.

So…what’s it going to be for you today? ¬†Is it faith or fear? ¬†Is it light or darkness? ¬†Are you going to be a CHICKEN or a WARRIOR?

Be transformed by the renewing of your mind, every day!  Focus on who the Lord says you are instead of what the world or the enemy has to say.

You are greatly blessed, highly favored and deeply loved! ¬†Go out and tell somebody when they ask you, “How are you today?”….Just say I am Blessed. ¬†ūüôā
